Didn’t need much time to fall in love with Two Inch Punch’s sexy RnB-infused joints. I dig tha T.I.P. tunes for the same reason I favor UK based DJ/producer Star Slinger and the Nashville, Tennessee based duo Jensen Sportag … these dudes got SOUL!!
Even though Ben Ash a.k.a Two Inch Punch seems to have a similar approach to making music as Star Slinger and Jensen Sportag … he also has that little something extra. You see he specializes in love induced electronica and floods the world with something called Luvstep!! “It’s kind of a cliché, but the songs that hit me and resonate with me are love songs so it’s just natural that that comes out in my music” is his explanation for all of this love creation …
So how does the guru of love-electro music come up with a moniker like Two Inch Punch? Well it turns out it has nothing whats however to do with Bruce Lee and it has everything to do with two-inch tape analogue audio recordings.
Since you have the specifics let’s get to the music. “Moonstruck” is taken from his upcoming Saturn: The Slow Jams EP (16 July 2012) which is the follow up to his arresting debut “Love you Up” -EP.
