Introducing Moonchild, a musical trio from LA that draws inspiration from the likes of Bon Iver, John Coltrane, Erykah Badu and D’Angelo.
Andris Mattson, Amber Navran & Max Byrk (from left to right on the photo) studied jazz performance at USC and that is basically how they met.
Their first album is on the way and actually will be here pretty soon, the end of April in fact.
Why the long introduction? … I just have this hunge this trio is going to come up with something good. At least that is what I get from the first track. Moonchild is offering the title track of the album “Be Free” for free here ..
